Clubs after school
After School Clubs
Parents / Carers will be asked termly, by letter, if they would like their child to join or continue in one of the clubs. There is usually a maximum of 20 children per club (with the exception of Cooking club which is 18 places) . In order to minimise administration we ask parents/carers to pay termly preferably, all clubs will be charged at £1 per session. The clubs run for approximately one term. All clubs are open to Reception (from the Spring Term) and Key Stage One children all year round.
Cooking Club (Maximum 18 places)
An delicious opportunity for children to learn some basic cooking skills aswell as basic food hygiene and the importance of healthy eating. Miss Alexander will be cooking up a storm.
Crafts/Design and Technology Club (Maximum 12 places)
New for Autumn 2017 - fun craft club which will be run by Miss Ward.
Games Club (Maximum 20 places)
Children will have the opportunity to play board games together and complete problem solving activities, learning key skills and sharing and taking turns. This club will be run by Mrs Keight.
Art Club (Maximum 20 places)
Children will have access to a range of fantastic resources during this club and will cover a variety of artistic skills to encourage children to express their creative side. Miss Clay will be running this club.
Reading Club (Maximum 20 places)
Little Readers will come and explore a variety of reading techniques with Miss Laird; including author links, comprehension and demonstrating understanding.
Multi-Sports Club (Maximum 20 places)
This is an opportunity for children to get fit in a fun and interactive way; by warming up, playong team games and exercising in a great way. This club is run by Miss Bailey.
Wonderful World Club (Maximum 20 places)
Another new club for Autumn 2017. This is a nature based club and will be run by Miss Spriggs.
